Andrew S. Fierman, CPA - Partner
Andrew S. Fierman, CPA, is partner in charge of the firm’s audit department. He focuses much of his work in the government, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan sectors. With more than 19 years of experience, Mr. Fierman provides guidance on financial reporting, accounting, and auditing matters including Federal and Florida Single Audits, and consulting services for all types of entities including governmental entities. These consulting services range from internal control reviews to audit preparedness services to annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) guidance and preparation. Mr. Fierman reviews audit workpapers, financial statements‚ auditors’ reports and management letter comments to ensure that they are in compliance with professional and firm standards.
Mr. Fierman is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), and the Special ACFR Review Committee for the GFOA. Andrew also serves as a member of the Miami-Dade League of Cities County Committee and the United Way of Miami-Dade Audit Committee.
Mr. Fierman graduated from Florida International University with a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
