Enrique Llerena, CPA - Partner
Enrique Llerena, CPA, is a partner within the firm’s audit department. He focuses much of his work in the government, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan sectors. With over 16 years of experience, Enrique provides guidance on financial reporting, accounting, and auditing matters including Federal and Florida Single Audits, and consulting services for all types of entities including governmental entities. Enrique has significant expertise in performing Federal and Florida Single Audits in accordance with OMB Uniform Guidance and the Florida Single Audit Act, as well as program-specific compliance audits. He is involved in all phases of the audit process, from planning and initial risk assessment to ensuring compliance with all State and Federal laws, and the preparation and review of financial statements.
Enrique is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), and the Special ACFR Review Committee for the GFOA. Within the Firm, Enrique performs quality control reviews of the governmental pension plans, and not-for-profit organizations. Enrique also is also responsible for the Firm’s training initiatives.
Enrique obtained both his Masters of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida International University.
